MTC Weekly Curriculum for week of April 6th

4/6/2020

THOUGHT OF THE WEEK:

Gratitude

We as a community have a lot of challenges to deal with right now and things can seem dark, but there is still a lot we have in our lives to be grateful for. When you focus on the things that you do have rather than the things you don’t have your attitude totally changes.  Focus not only on the big things but the little things like that you’re alive,  having running water, clothes to wear, food to eat, when we try to celebrate life our outlook totally changes.  Let’s all try to think of the things that we are grateful for first thing in the morning and before we go to bed at night and see what happens.

Also, we are planning on starting a weekly Q & A on Instagram live. Our idea is that once a week we will have Professor Finnie and one of our instructors answer questions from the students. We think this would be a great way to connect with our students during this time. We will announce the time and date of our first one, as well as where you or your child can ask questions this week on Facebook & Instagram.
