Coach Charlie Cundiff
Coach Charlie started his martial arts journey in 1986 in Seoul, Korea. As a student of Tae Kwon Do. He learned how to face the right direction when starting his forms, and to not cry (too much) when kicked in the nose. As a wrestler in high school, Charlie was a 2x district champion in collegiate wrestling and won state twice in both Greco and freestyle. He was also part of New Mexico’s duals team at the national tournament twice.
Ten years out of high school Charlie missed wrestling, so he walked into McMahon Training Center. He and his wife, Susan, were active competitors until they became parents. He is currently a purple belt in BJJ and a Blue shirt in Muay Thai Kickboxing. You can find his two sons, Declan and Edwin, in the little champs BJJ classes.
Charlie is passionate about coaching Kickboxing and Muay Thai, and has competed in several smokers and amateur fights. Coach Charlie is a 2018 Colorado Muay Thai state champion.
