WEEKLY CURRICULUM 4/22

Announcements

-The last day to register for our BJJ in-house tournament is Monday by 8:30pm. 

-We have one more week left for our online review raffle, prizes include a free private lesson, as well as  free BJJ and Muay Thai gear. Thanks for your support!

-We are planning on doing our next Training Day on Saturday May 4th from 11:30am-1:30pm.

Fundamentals A Day Class #21

  • Technique 1 – Front rolls     
  • Technique 2 – Double leg takedown       
  • Technique 3 – Escape side control (using the frame to guard)

Fundamentals B Day Class #22

  • Technique 1 – Back rolls      
  • Technique 2 – Double leg takedown setups (defending against haymaker punch and using the jab if time)          
  • Technique 3 – Escape side control (using the pummel to the back)

Intermediate Unit 3 week 1

Warmup Drills

  • Movement drill/arm drags
  • De la riva to x guard
  • Double leg (snap down, chop and go)

Ground – Stand up to pass control the sleeve
