-On Wednesday, July 24th, Professor Eliot Marshall will teach a free special no-gi BJJ class from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Eliot Marshall is a longtime training partner of Professor Finnie and a former professional mixed martial arts fighter who competed in the UFC. He was also the first American to conquer IBJJF Pan American titles in the blue, purple, and brown belt divisions.
Fundamentals A Day Class #11
- Technique 1 – Footwork
- Technique 2 – Slap to low back clinch (focus on body fold)
- Technique 3 – Maintain the mount core 4, and taking the back with RNC
Fundamentals B Day Class #12
- Technique 1 – Footwork
- Technique 2 – Slap to low back clinch (adding leg trip)
- Technique 3 – Attack the mount (armbar & front chokes)
Intermediate Unit 9 week 2
Warmup Drills
- Movement drill/arm drags
- De la riva series-Split the middle /knee slice
- Guard pulling
Ground – Front choke/armbar or head and arm
