Now a favorite Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor at McMahon Training Center, Professor Roy Page began training BJJ in March 2007—just two weeks after his children started. As a white belt, Roy focused on learning the fundamentals of the sport, and after earning his blue belt, he began successfully competing. Roy has competed in both gi and no-gi BJJ, winning 1st place in many local tournaments. With black belt Professors Finnie and Tessa as his mentors, Roy started teaching BJJ classes at our Fort Collins Academy in 2008. Today, he proudly trains, teaches, and competes for MTC. He earned his black belt in 2016.
