WEEKLY CURRICULUM 01/23

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

    • February 4th from 11:30am-1:30pm- Adult BJJ & Muay Thai training day
    • Easton In-House Tournament Feb. 18th
    • Grappling Industries BJJ Comp. Saturday Jan. 28th

Fundamentals A Day Class #21

  • Technique 1 – Front rolls     
  • Technique 2 – Double leg take down       
  • Technique 3 – Escape side control (using the frame to guard)

Fundamentals B Day Class #22

  • Technique 1 – Back rolls      
  • Technique 2 – Double leg take down set ups (defending against haymaker punch and using the jab if time)          
  • Technique 3 – Escape side control (using the pummel to the back)

Intermediate Unit 15 week 1

Warmup Drills

  • Movement drill/arm drags/russian tie
  • De la Riva to single x (alternate 1 for 1)
  • Double leg takedown: snap and go and chop the arms

Flower sweep series (Gi) Fan sweep series (no gi)
