Coach Austyn has been on the mats wrestling since he was only 4 years old, and he competed at a high level throughout his entire career. After many years of wrestling, he found BJJ and really enjoyed how it complemented his previous grappling experience. Austyn also recently discovered a real passion for Muay Thai. He now holds a blue shirt in Muay Thai and a blue belt in BJJ. He has competition experience in wrestling, BJJ, and MMA, and brings all that experience to the Academy every day, teaching both our Junior Grapplers and our kids wrestling classes.
