Announcements
We will host an in-house BJJ tournament on Tuesday April 23rd, all regular evening BJJ classes will be canceled. The adults will go from 6:00pm-8:30pm or so. The idea is to give students a chance to learn about competing in sport Jiu-Jitsu in a safe and fun environment. Students need to be a 2nd stripe white belt and up to compete, and there is no charge to participate. If you want to participate, please put your name on our list.
Adult BJJ Fundamentals A Day Class #19
- Technique 1 – 6 count blocking
- Technique 2 – Dragging rear-naked choke standing
- Technique 3 – Passing guard over (in a street fight)
Fundamentals B Day Class #20
- Technique 1 – 6 count blocking
- Technique 2 – Breaking grips (wrist, sleeve and lapel)
- Technique 3 – Passing guard over (technical using the gi)
Intermediate Unit 2 week 2
Warmup Drills
- Movement drill/arm drags
- De la riva to single x
- Single leg (dump and outside trip)
Ground – Walk around armbar spin armbar
Womens Class – Back week 2
Speech – Week 60 – You can either be a thermostat or a thermometer
